How does Cruising with Jeff work?
We book group space on cruises Jeff plans to take. We list those cruises on WelchCruising.travel so others can take advantage of the group rate savings. These cruises are scheduled far in advance for two reasons.
- This gives you time to pay for the cruise and me time to help you get ready.
- That is how group rates work. Group rates and availability are best when cruise itineraries are first published. But cabins that I don’t fill in short order are recalled by the cruise line so they can be sold to the general public.
I am an independent travel agent with Cornerstone Travel Group. So I can help you with any kind of travel, but cruising is my specialty. Of course, you don’t have to take the same cruises as me. Your Most Important Trip
Cruising is a great way to see exotic places and experience special treatment. It is also the most cost efficient way to “see the world.” I enjoy visiting other cultures, but even more, I love to experience God’s creation.
Despite the bad and ugly in this world, there is much at which to marvel. Mankind has built glorious things, but God’s handiwork in the waters, mountains, and everything in between are second to none. And yet, there is more to come.
Many people cruise through life without a thought of what comes next. After this life, I mean. As a believer in, and follower of, Jesus Christ, I know He loves you and wants you to take an everlasting trip that puts any wonderful experience on earth to shame.
While vacation destinations will charge you for just a short visit, heaven is a trip that’s fully paid for. We couldn’t afford the price ourselves, so Jesus paid it by sacrificing Himself on the cross and rising from the grave. He has gone to prepare a place for us, not for just a visit, but for eternity.
The Bible explains that, even at our best, we are sinners. We can’t help it – we’re born that way. That’s a problem, because God is holy. But He is also love. He solved our sin problem by satisfying His justice with a righteous sacrifice. As our substitute, Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, then died in punishment for our sinful condition.
But He’s not dead. Unlike all religions whose founders are dead, our God is alive. Jesus rose from the grave to prove His deity, and the truth of His promise to save and forgive. All He wants in return is faith enough to believe and receive.
Pretend I offered you a free world cruise. Before you could receive it, you would have to believe that the offer is legit. You would also have to agree that I can afford to give it to you. Do I have the ability to provide what I promised, and am I really willing to do so?
